How about this for a thread.
It could get interesting, can anybody really beat Metroreg at 240k:jaw-dropping

My 2002 320d Touring has 115k, average of 13k a year.

Pathetic in comparison:embarrassed

Well I picked up my 1 series convertible on 20th February, so into my 7th month of ownership and its done 8351 miles.

My 330ci was bought second hand and when I got it had 20k on the clock and now has 30k on the clock, its a September 2004 reg

I bought mine 3 years ago, its a 1986 325i convertable with 128000 on the clock with past mots to confirm this, It runs and drives great.
Last year i drove it to lake garda in italy and back covering 2400 miles and it didnt miss a beat.The run through the gothard tunnel with the top down was awsome. These cars are built to last.
I do use it now as a weekend car and is taken off the road in winter but i have no doubt i could run it day to day if required.:thumbsup

E90 330D SE (06)lol 40k now , 38 when i bought it, not sure its even "run in" lol : D

2001 325ti - just gon past 90k, so 11,250 per year (it only had 69,000 on the clock when I picked it up last year). I went for an older car as I was sick of the depreciation that comes with the mileage I do - plan is now keep it and run it into the ground and buy the other half something nice next year (she does 10miles a day...)

151000 on my 95 328i still runs like a dream,has fsh and old mots to back up mileage,drives like a car a quarter of its age,no knocks or rattles,no wind noise,spot on really.

Bought my e39 525 sport Auto with 49 on the clock and FBMWSH. So far it's needed a new engine (I paid for and therefore bought Tesco extended warranty) who duly also paid out on a gearbox, plus viscous cooling fan .... and I suspect it needs an air con compressor too ! A year after ownership it has 58 on the clock with 3k of that being mechanics test drives on the bloomin gearbox ..... Beat that for a lemon.
