hiya, how hard and what is required to convert my 2996 320i convertible to 328 spec, i would probably buy a whole mot failure or damaged car, park them side by side and change the lot over but what is actually required and how much is involved,

The conversion is easy so long as you have everything and the years of your car and the donor are compatible:thumbsup

thanks bud, so if i was to get a 96 328 is the braking system and gearbox and dif etc any different same for the loom etc

Front brakes are the same, diff will be different ratio, 320i is 3.45, 328i is 2.93.

Gearboxes are different but will fit the 320i with the parts from the 328i
