I can open the hardtop with the key on the 330i convertible, the manual indicates that the key should also be able to close the hardtop, doesnt seem to be working, does it have to be programmed, or is there some setting that allows the key to activate.

I did read that as a safety thing it wasn't programmed for the closing, one of our main dealer guys will be able to confirm

Mine will close on the key. Just hold the lock button. I have comfort access if this makes a difference ?

comfort access is a dealer option mate
