I'm still in the middel of my tyre choice dilema

I'm torn Between whether to go for 225/45/R17 91Y and 225/45/R17 94Y XL

Will the extra load ones be noticeably different for having slightly stronger side walls?

Still stuck between 94Y FK452's and 91Y F1 asymetrics

FK452's are a very good tyre but under sharp acceleration in the wet they will spin, just be aware of this however in the dry they are as good as a tyre twice the price.

basically the 94Y is more stable than the 91Y due to increased load capability
but does that translate into better grip?

I have gone for Eagle F1 Asymmetric's and XL 94Y versions - Got them for £90 each
FK452's were £70 from Camskill.

a big saving compared to whats on which are Goodyear NCT5 Run Flats and 91V and £130 each
(and not exactly performance tyres)

I would imagine i'll be lucky to get a year out of them but we shall see.
