New to forum and my first post as recently purchased my first ever BMW and well pleased with it.
Question is....... is there a wiring diagram available for the F26 X4 as searching the internet it seems to be all smoke and mirrors trying to obtain what should be readily available information from the manufacturer.
Looking for information on the fuel and ignition circuits
Good Morning Garrrs
2016 X4 F26 - looking for fuse identification as what is available online and with the supplied BMW vehicle diagrams are not detailed for each individual fused circuit.
Fuel pump symbol on supplied diagrams shows two fuses associated with fuel and indicate fuse no's 139 (5A) & 184 (20A),
I presume 5A will be for the sender unit/fuel gauge and the 20A will be for the fuel pump ..... like I say, it all appears to be smoke and mirrors when trying to obtain info from manufacturers
I know it is an F26, you said so in your first post. What I was asking for was the type (4 characters), since you never even mentioned your engine type.
Looking at the 20d, fuse 139 was for the fuel leakage module (North america only) until 2014, afterwards it's for the tyre pressure control system.
The fuel pump control module is on F184 and the pump is powered directly by that. The fuel level sensor do not have dedicated fuses.
Cheers GARRS
I think ZX4D is the model number from details I have,
Appreciate diagrams are available from BMW TIS but having to pay for limited access every time we have a query is a bit rich
