Hi, hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction please.

I have a 2012 F21 116i, sport model that I'd like to lower slightly, maybe 30mm to 40mm. I've done a bit of research and it appears the springs can be bought for approx. £120, but is that all you need to do? No adjustment to the dampers or anything, and will it affect the different modes, comfort/sport?

Also, whilst it's pretty nippy for a 1.6, is there a way of chipping it to give it a it more ooomph?

I guess all of this can be done but I've never modified a car before so need a few pointers if you don't mind.

Thank you!

For lowering have a look at motech performance. Bought some springs from them that are Made by eibach to motech spec. Very easy company to deal with.

Again see above they use Remus tuning modules to safely increase power/torque.
