the wing was wrapped up well in bubble wrap and wrapped all over with fragile tape. But when the guy arrived i say in the back of his van and nothing was secured. they were damaged boxes in there as well. fragile tape means nothing to these monkeys. worst thing is i had a bonnet delivered last week and that was damaged to. the edge had been used to rest the weight of the bonnet on. i feel like David banner right now. well and truly pissed. its obvious it has been used to rest a box on. The guy was even complaining about the people he works with not giving a shit that they deliver to you or not.
i won't tell any one the it was TNT that delivered it as that would be unfair.

:eek...that's a bummer...:frown get onto QM & complain, the courier company should have insurance.
i have sent a message to quarry. i am well annoyed though. how can these company's survive if they treat property like this? the worst thing is i have looked for this wing for ages and quarry found me this , what looked like a mint wing. i really was looking forward to getting it fitted and being one step closer to driving her. but ............................... i'm winding myself up again. i will stop it there for now.

Most items are covered by damage and theft i would say 99% courier is liable and will cover cost/value you purchased at from the moment they take it they are responsible as thats the nature of their buisness i work at volvo we use tnt, dhl, maxi haulage and have had to claim for damages there should be a department who will sort it although they will try and say if you have signed for it returns will only be accepted if you have not unwrapped it
Contact quarry tell them you want full refund and return of goods if there decent they will refund and sort it out with courier if there going to be an arse about it they will leave you to deal with the courier yourself either way it wa damaged in TRANSIT tell them so you cant be liable it falls with courier but as i said earlier once you have signed for ot they can say it was not damaged by them and will be hard proving it id imagine quarry has a contract with courier if they ship a lot of goods with them the courier should want to keep their contract by issueing refund and not making a fuss

How much did you pay for wing and shipping?

My 1st e46 coupe i bought a few years back had 5 years worth of bills from quarry motors because the car was bought from the sheffield area and the owner probably trusted them as well astoblished bmw specialist but alot of work seemed over priced and some work unecesary

next door neighbour had a S/H tailgate delivered for her corsa to this day i dont know how they managed to damage it the way they did, both top corners were bent and folded on themselves it could only have bin dropped on each corner seperately due to the shape of the tailgate but the damage was identical on both corners...

i never signed for it! i took it off him and went to the front door to get a tool to open the packaging, at that point he had driven off.
In this case then

My message to quarry motors would have been my wing has not arrived yet...lol
