Does anyone know what the internal diameter of the pipe is that connects to the exhaust back pressure sensor?
or will I need to buy a specific one with pre-formed bends in it etc

What sort of pipe is it? When I changed the pressure sensor on my 635d it was a short length of rubber pipe with a heat shield. I got the pipe from bmw as it was not expensive.

Yeah I got a price from cotswold bmw, just over £26, cheaper than the Latvian versions on eBay lol, thanks I’ll be getting an original bmw one me thinks

I definitely wouldn't say "lots" though, but yeah sometimes it's worth checking with them first. The EGR thermostat for example, same price at dealership than with other dealers.

pays to shop around, I got a load of replacement suspension bolts when I changed the upper front & back arms - £33 for about 8 bolts and 4 of them was tiny - that said i'd rather have the original bolts there as opposed to cheap ones
