Hello

Just joined the forum so go easy!

Ive done a topic search for a buying guide on the E93 cabrio but can not find one.

Does anyone have any tips for me for when I go to view one?

Paintwork - Ive got that pretty much covered. Can spot a blemish a mile off;) its just the common faults and ware rates info im looking for.

Good points/ bad points?

Best Engine to go for?

I know the boot space is small but who cares:hihi

Insurance isnt a problem.

thanks in advance.

Sat

Hi Sat,

I have had mine for about 18 months now, bought ex demo.

Good points :
lovely engine/box combination (335i auto)

Bad points :
Rubbish standard stereo.
19" wheels prone to cracking
Sports suspension / RFT combo harsh
Black leather interior looks drab c/w lighter colours

Really Bad points : Depreciation

It is a great car, but somehow I am not in love with it 100%, can't put my finger on why though.

Hello and thanks for the reply. Just the info I wanted.

I did check one out at the dealership but it didnt blow me away completely. For a 20k+ car I was expecting a big wow factor so I do kind of understand what you mean.

I have booked a test drive and ill see how it goes.

Im afraid no one has written an E93 buying guide as yet...
but there is a generic M3 buying guide on here that will have a lot of applicable points,.

I will see if I can dig it out for you and post the link :thumbsup
