Hi Mate

Yes but had alot of bother as for some reason my ECU wouldnt accept the maps but got there in the end it doesnt make a huge difference but its definately noticeable! I had my old TT remapped and with that being a turbo it was a massive difference! NA cars dont respond the same it just sharpens them up and has less flat spots!

More Mods :hihi

Got some decent weather so decided to clean the brakes give them a lick of paint and put some decals on which i think have turned out pretty well! Also had the wheels refurbed so she really is looking tip top now

Along with that i have changed all the blue and white badges on the car to the carbon look which matches my black theme

Enjoy

Felt energetic so did our Type R too which has turned out nicely too

Eibach pro springs

Hi There,

Very impressed with what you have done to your 645CI.

I'm thinking of getting some for my 635D Sport because it looks far to high in the arches, especially at the front.

I've read that EIBACH's Pro Kit will lower 35mm at the front and 30mm at the rear, is this realistic in your experience?

The photos of your car do show a huge improvement on ride height.

Do you think is worth me declaring the mod to the insurance? I'm undecided!

Regards

Phil

Hi mate yep lowering has made a huge difference to the looks of the car and it handles better with no compromise on the ride comfort as far as insurance goes it's your choice but it shouldn't change your premium a great deal. 30mm was about right!

Perce I got the badges from eBay matey

See that you had your M3 Cut alloys refurbed, look very nice indeed.

Can you tell me where you got them done? I've got cut/polished faces on my 635D alloys, which might need some attention to the clear Lacqeur in the future?

I've been quoted £140.00/wheel to be taken away for 3 days, seems expensive and very time consuming.

Hi mate cost me £300 for all 4 wheels he had it one full day it was a local specialist! Your being ripped off at £140 a wheel compared to my £75

Hope this helps

After you lowered your 645 30mm (ish) with the Eibach pro kit, did you have any problems with speed bumps etc. and the front spoiler ever touching the tarmac?

Still looks like there is enough clearance? judging by your Pics.

Regards

Phil.

I Love the 6, looking for a 635d or 640d convertable but i like what you have done ref the roof wrap, the black go's well with the dark tint on the rear windows. Not keen on the wheels, Prefure some thing with a dish but thats me. I would defo fit black grills and get rid of the chrome trim but like you said it go's with the wheels.

I was also considering a 645/650 and have it LPG'd
