I wanna know who has the best Alignment machines.
(i'm in west London) i have a mechanic telling me to go to chesham for the best alignment.

i've heard a lot of stuff from people slagging off other peoples machines.
Even my local tyre shop has got a laser machine and they do it on the floor !

what adjustments can be made on standard e46? ie toe/camber/caster etc
2wheel/4wheel ?

does it really make a difference how fancy their tech is ? :confused

its something i'm really interested in as I've gone through a long list of what can make my tires wear prematurely, having replaced all the bushes on my 183k miler.

It make very little difference how fancy. Intelligence works best.

Armed with the right intellect and training, a nail on a piece of string, a piece of chalk and a ruler work very well and a new shiney laser machine works extremely well.

Without the intellect and training, it's all just a pile of scrap.

Their training and calibration regime (should be certificates) is more important than the type of machine.
