just taken a pair of e46 compact lights apart and installed ccfl angel eyes.
this is a p&%s easy job and they do look great(make sure you buy the white ones,the blue ones are dull and look poo)
my problem is the light lenses are not scratched but more like hazed over with minute stonechips and probably the dreaded gritter!
what's the best plastic polish to remove this,i do have access to a electric buffer.

Used this stuff in work. Excellent results.
Don't use any electric buffer - one slip and you've just created a whole lot more work. Polish out by hand, nice and gentle.
