1996 e36 coupe fitting e46 wheels

been offered for free by a m8 his Alpina 18" wheels

done alot of searching and cant quite find the answer

this chart looks good but couldnt find the info

Alpina Classic is the design

rear is a 9j x 18 et45 fitted with 255 tyres

with 225x40x18 are they good to go ?

ok sorted

had a good look at them today and they are copys
1 rear is damaged got a ding in it been quoted 35 pound to fix it
as the rears are 9j 225 tyres look realy stretched and i dont like that look

my m8 told me to slap them on ebay and keep what i get for them

so still happy lol

??? m8 yer you could fit 285 on a 9j rim but what i have seen on this forum 225 on an e36 rear is what seams to be the max

Haha Alpina fit a 265 on a 9j as standard fitment for an e36, arches untouched. M3s have 245s. With the correct offsets e36 can roll on pretty wide rims and tyres.

You would be as well just to bang on a 235 or 245 and keep the wheels.
