morning all, I'm in a bit of a panic about my pride and joy. noted steam to be coming form the radiator area after a short or long run, and that the car is using coolant quite quickly. oil cap looks all healthy with no white muck there. i can't see obvious leaks so where should i be looking and what is the potential cause to me problem?

possible airlock...Click on the search button just below the banner at the top of the forum and do a search for bleed procedure :thumbsup

Could be cracked expansion tank or radiator if you are losing coolant.

Cracked expansion tank or a failed radiator cap... Next time it steams, be quick, and try to look around the radiator and see if you can see where it's coming from.

thanks for the response so far, much appreciated! in addition the car's temp gauge stays nice and steady no matter, not sure as this is useful info or not.
