Thinking really seriously about upgrading now. Im thinking 323i 325i or 328i engine from an e36 OR im thinking 330i from the E46. Would that work? If so what would i need from the donor car? If thats a load of rubbish, what about turboing? Cheers!:thumbsup:confused

A 330i engine would be a ball ache to fit, especially the electrics, the 330 engine has no throttle cable so you'd need to wire in the electrically controlled throttle and fit the throttle pedal electrics e.t.c

Then there would be the EWS module, key barrel, key, e.t.c

Even if you fit a e36 engine you'd need the EWS module and key and ignition barrel e.t.c from the car the engine came out off to do the conversion.

Now if you had a donor e36 you would be laughing :hihi, give A20 a shout as he has done this already.
