Can some one please tell me where i would find the speedo pulse sender which emits the pulse for the speedometer please?

its one of the ABS sensors but i can not remember what one it is

E36 uses the diff. Have a look underneath the back of the car, and you'll see the diff, and there's an electrical plug on the back.
It might be damp if it has stopped working.
The ABS sensors are used for a speed signal, but I think that's only for the Autobox and some other modules.
