Hi,

Was wondering if anybody knows how to reset the service indicator on an
E36?

I used to have an E30 and found out from using this forum to bridge a couple of terminals on the diagnostic pulg to reset the lights. Can't see to find any threads or diagrams. The motors an E36 318iA 1992.

Any part of the chassis that is grounded.

I didnt ground anything, just bridged two terminals, ignition on for 7 or 8 seconds, ignition off, wire out and it was done

managed the reset, put ignition to 2nd click, inserted wire in hole/pin 7 first then earthed to hole/pin 19 for 5 seconds.
