My car has just failed it's MOT on Rear Trailing Arms and a Snapped Suspension Spring. When I get the spring changed is it going to be worth while doing the Trailing Arm Bushes at the same time? Trying to keep costs to a minimum. What do you think it would cost to do the both, not at a steeler!

deffo do both at same time
and consider fitting urethane bushes,powerflex on ebay

Rear trailing arm bushes can be done in a hour for both sides with the proper tool, spring in 15 mins, garage will charge more though.

I've just had my rear trailing arm bushes changed cost £80 for parts and his labour. Definatley do the spring at the same time.

If theyre the same as the E46 ones then theyre not that hard to do and the powerflex ones are three pieces, so theyre reeeeealy easy to put back in, once youve battered the old ones out.
Apparently theres two types of rubber bush, a split type thats easy to get out and a non split type that takes a bit more effort to remove.(bigger hammer? ) mine had one of each!!!
Just factor in an alignment as the cage that unbolts from the car does the toe angles on the rear too...
