Hi Guy's,

Is anyone running their E36 3.0 M3 de-cated?

I'm thinking of doing this but was curious if there were any noticeble gains when doing this..........I know by de-catting a car you could probably release another 10% or so of power but what kind of results are produced in the M3?

I've been looking at the Miltek ones, which I know are one of the best but obvioulsy not the cheapest. any alternatives?

I'd love to comment on this one as I have a Miltek de-cat but haven't taken the car out with it on to notice any gains. Oh that and my Dave F induction kit:mad

it does'nt sound tinny at all does it?

also, is your de-cat with the 2 mini silencers?

and if you dont mind me asking.......how much did you pay for it and where?

It has 2 silencers, I wouldn't say they're exactly mini though. I think it was around £450'ish when I purchased it from Thorney Motorsport IIRC (whoever it was they did tuning on the VX220 also)

Sounds really quiet.... In fact the only noise it made was a pop:confused




When my daughter decided it would be fun to play with the bubble wrap on it:rofl (It's not quite fitted yet, neither of them are:lol)
