Not idling very well, when accelerating very jerky. Have fitted new fuel pump and vanos and made no differance. Fault code 203, Any ideas anyone????

Did you get the codes read from a scanner?

203 P0173 Fuel Trim (Bank 2),
O2 control limit
DME internal
values logical
Controller for lambda is too long
beyond a min. or a max.

Most likely the Lambda sensor, check the wiring and plug connection, if good get a new sensor as that is what the codes relates to, only get a plug and play item, universal Ebay rubbish is no good.
