Guesswork without proper diagnostics, but things like MAF and dodgy cam sensors can cause these issues. Try disconnecting the MAF and driving it. If it's better then thats a nod in the right direction. Does it start quickly when hot? If not check the exhaust cam sensor multiplug. Disconnect it from the sensor and check for oil contamination (common issue) in the plug itself, if so clean it out with contact cleaner. Test pins with multimeter while you're there. Centre pin should read 5v or so, the others two - one should be 12v and the other 0v (ground) - check with ignition on. This will rule out a wiring issue on that sensor. Remove sensor and clean with cleaner as it will be all gunked up no doubt. Refit and re-try the car.
