hi there guys.

as the drivers side door window goes up, it's catching on the side rubber, which is starting to crack and part of the rubber is dropping in towards the area that the window inhabits when up, and the rubber is pushing the window out of its path a little. i might have to cut a part of this out until i replace the rubber to improve the motion of the window, or pull it out but it's going to be a pain because i would have to pull this rubber out at a couple of places every time i put the window up.

has anyone replaced these rubber seals, where's the cheapest place for them and what does the job entail?

I've seen it Ron. The rubber does look a little tired and adjusting won't really help because the it folds over where the cracks are. Replacement is more likely to solve his problem.

thanks guys. i think the rubber has become brittle and is starting to fold over. cutting a part out is a temp solution, do you have to take the door apart to install the new rubber? strange because earlier the window was running up and down fine.

As far as I can recall yes, will need the window out, been a while since I've done one and the bottle of wine makes things cloudy
