can you do a donut?

yes = car has lsd
no = car has no lsd

IIRC, all E36 Sport model's came with a LSD :)

LSDs were a optional extra in the 318is IIRC.

And if you have a e36 with traction control then you won't have a LSD as standard, on the diff casing you should have a S printed/painted on it if you have a LSD, also on a tag there will be a S

On the 318is it was an expensive optional extra. Rarely taken. I believed my old one was but i did home work. 318 is an option.

Stick a wheel in thick mud and one on tarmac and wheelspin. If the wheel in mud spins but other not so much then you dont have lsd. lsd would force the other wheel to spin also. (probably pulling you out mud)
