hey, just a quick question, does anyone on here know if the injectors off a 318is will fit a 318i? and if so will they make much difference? as im guessing they are bigger? thanks, dan.

If they are different (which they might be) it will just throw off all of your fueling calculations, and your ECU will be doing it's best to correct the fueling (it's watching via the lambda sensor)
You'll probably find it'll fail any MOTs too.

ok, so not much point trying them really? thanks do you know if the ecu can be remapped to get a bit extra out of it?

It might be able to be chipped, it'll depend on the ECU.
Find you chassis number, and go to realoem.com and put in the last 7 digits (XX12345)

Then to to engine electrical system>control units and find your ECU.
In the data to the side, it'll say either something like M1.7.3 or BMS43.

1.7.3 is a chip swap , BMS43 needs unsoldering work and remapping.
