Hi people!
All of you are probably sick of answering my questions by now:hihi
Got a rear break conversion question, gona try and break it down into manageable chunks.
I want to replace the drum breaks on the back of my BM (e36 316 coupe) with discs. Found a full assembly on eBay (trailing arms, calipers, hubs, breaks, driveshafs handbreak cables).
I read a thread simmilar to the thing I want to do but it was for a 318 to be converted to discs so I'm a little not sure:confused.
My questions are:
1. Would I need to replace the Break master cylinder to suit the breaks or will my master cylinder work with those breaks? (the parts are comming off a 325)
2. I have ABS, so would my ABS sensors need replacing?
3. Could I leave my front discs as they are for the time being untill I save up pennies to upgrade them aswell? And what will I need to upgrade? Just the discs? Or the calipers aswell?
4. (refering to 3.) What is the difference between the breaks on the e36's as you go up in engine size?
Many thanks for previous help and hope you will have the patients to help me on this one :thumbsup
