hi im new to this forum. im on the look out for some sort of 316 at the moment and cant really decide what i prefer a e36 compact or a e30 316. could anyone point me in the direction of some good threads containing both? im hoping seeing decent samples of both will make my decision easier.

hey buddy i got a e36 compact as long as u get a clean one with no probs they r great cars however if u get one with probs they will just drain away ur bank balance cos nearly everything 'standard' wont fit a compact so they wack the prices up on parts cos captive market.

What's your budget? Personally I would say 318ti if you can stretch to it.

E36 is younger and more refined. The compact also shares a lot of the rear suspension with the E30 so should be quite lively.

i cant stretch to a 318 ive checked its 500 quid extra insurance cos im only 17.
any decent threads on here?
been looking hard through wheel whores but thats not always easy to find stuff
