as far as i can see it should. Relocate the heater controls to the bottom of the centre console and take out the CD player. There will be other things to do most likely have to do but I am 99% sure it'd work.:thumbsup

yeh i thought it would, just wonderd if anyone had actually done it and had pics and any tips on moving the heater controls

There are quite a few people that have it is just difficult finding a decent write up, just did a quick G00gle and found this http://www.mtlbmw.com/showthread.php?p=4752 now that my repairs on my BM24 unit didn't work I am looking at doing the same on my E38.
