Hi everyone,new to this site and even though I haven't yet purchased a 325 I soon will :cool

I'm looking to get a 2002 onwards 325ci coupe.

However,is there really much difference between this model and the earlier 2000/2001 models?

I understand BMW made a few upgrades to the 02 model,I haven't had much luck finding out exactly what these upgrades are. Engine and brakes I presume but is there much difference in performance?

2001 models seem to be a fair bit cheaper at the mo but do you think its worth spending that extra money and getting a 2002?

there was a facelift around this time, no performance differences though except the diesels, there are differences but mainly cosmetic, look at the indicators do they turn up if so its a face lift, if they turn down pre facelift, if you aint bothered about the look just find the best example you can

The facelift happened in 2003, major differences being upturned indicators and 6 speed box, no difference between 2001 and 2002 :thumbsup

Good choice my friend I'm 3 weeks into owning my 03 325ci and I absolutely love it. Approx 28-29 to the gallon even when I toe it, comfort, style, the birds love it... You won't regret it!
