Hi Guys,

I want to replace the flexipipe on my 320d e46 and i have bought the flexi part to be welded on. But for some reason no garage seem to want to do it as apparently it take so much time to do. The general suggestion was that i get a decat downpipe fitted instead.

Im still unclear on how it will affect MOT as no one can give me a straight answer and i obviously dont want the car to fail.
The car has got a custom catback exhaust fitted already and fitting a decat means the car will have a straight pipe all the way through.

The car is in good health and doesnt throw any black smoke even at max revs.

Any advice please?

Thank you
