Ok, so i recently got a DVD player in the front of my car and i cant figure out how to play music through the headunit, from my laptop. any ideas?

BTW i have got USB connectivity.

It probably wont hook up directly I would think. My own has USB as well but it only works by reading files from a USB memory stick. Same with any others I've seen.

What model is the unit? you can use a RCA to Jack if your unit supports Aux in

I was going to try and see if my USB head unit would work with my laptop earlier. It does with memory sticks. I don't have a suitable lead to try at the moment.

I assume you are just trying to play music (that's on your laptop) through the head unit. Or is there a problem with DVD movie sound?

Sorry for this one but - the laptop is switched on yes?
