Hi all

Managed to spill coffee all over the centre console of my 2019 X3 this morning.

Mopped it all up but worried some has seeped down and under into iDrive knob, the automatic gear changer or the Driving Dynamics Control system switches.

Everything is working fine but you know how long it can take for liquid/electronic issues to appear, so is it worth booking an appointment with my local BMW garage, just to get it checked out? Would that be chargeable, do you reckon, whether a fault is found or not?

Heh, if they look at it, never mind do anything, it'll cost!

Seriously, just call and ask them .. there are some decent garages and dealers out there. Personally, I'd get some air moving quickly, doors open, hairdryer going down all the crevices ... NOT on hot! I'd also check Youtube for removing the plastics and surrounds, they're often just pryed up, but also often in a sequence ... ;) Have fun ...
