hi can anyone recommend a chip/scratch remover.
cant do myself aint got the skills
got quite a few stone chips to bonnet + scuffs on bumper

ChipsAway are one of the best known ,but as a franchise operation will vary in quality, ditto the others - Dentmaster, Car Doctor.

For the stone chips have you considered Chipex - they've a deal on for Forum members and some folk here have used their product (there's a brief video of it being used...nice looking woman doing it). The bumper might need professional work though - it depends how 'scuffed' it is!!

the done a few bits on my old vw beetle 1303s! was a custom paint and they matched it perfect!!!

from what i gather its like you say different areas differing reports,
lots of people say dont use them.
i looked at chipex but it cant be that easy, also i am useless at this kind of thing,end up with little blobs of paint everywhere.
i might get a quote see what they say

I've bought the Chipex kit but am waiting until the weathe ris warmer before using it, but according to those who have - it is that easy. Plus, for £40 there's nothing to lose really........
