Hi all,
I’ve recently bought a 320d 2005 e46 and the dreaded check engine light has come on. We get an air flow error when scanning with my mates solus.
I’ve deleted the egr and blanked the swirls, I’ve also bought a new maf as the old was faulty however I’m still getting this error. We’ve even tried resetting the maf values and nothing. Now when we deleted the egr we took the manifold off to do the swirls at the same time and we gave that a good scrub as it’s was caked in build up. The car seems to run fine but we’re abit confused as to why the light is still on, I’ve recently put some diesel system cleaner in the fuel to see if that does anything. The only thing I haven’t done is map the delete for the swirls and egr, after speaking to midland remaps their want around 200 quid to do this and I honestly didn’t want to spend that amount of money especially if I won’t fix the issue. If anyone has any suggestions???
