Remove weight, won't add power or torque but it won't cost you money and will give you a handling and acceleration gain.

The DME does all the running of the engine, it's not like a old Ford Escort where you could adjust the timing manually and tweak the fueling on the carb.

New cars cost ££££ to tune for good bhp gains

You are going to need at least around £1000 for noticeable gains,

Get a remap, exhaust system and a good air filter (not ones that induce heat soak)
But for that kind of cash its not going to give you big gains at all.

If you want more power than that then if you have a mortgage, id think about remortaging. :hihi

Not sure what car you have, but based on a 330, If you want a decent gain, ie. 50bhp+, your talking supercharger or turbo, SC is the best one, and quite cheap at under 4k. But by the time you pay the extra on the insurance and the SC itself, you may as well go out and buy an M3 imo.
As said above, for gains around the 30-35bhp mark, decent exhaust system, air filter (i got a bryF and its really good), and a decent remap, should see around 30bhp gain.
