Did anyone ever watch that old programme that ex vet did, a car is born? Ended up with a nice cobra kit on a sierra chassis although he didnt get much change from 20k even back then. 7k of that though was shiny chevy v8 crate motor.
I built a Locost a few years back, basically a Lotus 7 replica..... Put a few different motors in it including a Ford Crossflow, twin cam and then a Honda blackbird engine... Good fun for a while, not really practical day to day though...:frown

well sort of a kit car ish thing i have planned this year lol.
off road buggy powerd by a motobike engine have to be something along the lines of a zx9r lump. toyed with the r1 engines but there just no where near strong enough to take the greif.
plans drawn up for a single seated independant suspension. just working on the braking then its time to get cracking. budget for that will be 750
