Had the very same advisory on a new to me e90 but on the test that came with the car.
Also said under trays fitted.
So it went on the ramp at my m8s garage and first thing we noticed was it had no under trays.
Then we looked at the brake pipes and they had been changed but had been on the car a couple of years at least.
I know the garage it was last tested at now and i will say no more.
Drive ok does it ??? pass.

The MOT system has both options.
Pipe corroded ??.
Pipe covered in grease or ??.
You just pick the one when doing the computer bit at the end.

Yes visual but if sus a bit of a scrape sort of thing.
Well that is what i did for too many years to remember old school you might say.
My m8 has a garage and he does the exact same thing not sure what the young guys do but i know they well the ones i know aren't as thorough as us old guys.
