today i changed the diff and gear box oils

I used fuchs titan race syn 5 in the dif and fuchs sintopoid

What came out:

Heres a few photos of how to remove the sound generator and take the foam out:
sound generator

Undo the jubliee clip:

pull the othe end from the bulk head:

there is a clip under it, undo it:

pull the two parts apart and remove the foam

this lets more engine noise into the cabin

So today I done a few bits,

First of i restored all the exterior trim with C'techniq C4 - I used this on my 3 series and its permanent, wont wash off or fade

They look good as new now

Before:

After:

Then i finsihsed off my interior bits that i wrapped in vinyl:

Thanks for looking

here you go Exterior Coatings // G|Techniq

you only need the 15 ml bottle, its expensive but definatly worth it. Make sure you don't get it on paint or glass though as it wont come off easily mask up

Its really easy to do too, you literally wipe it on then wipe it off with a mf

have you done the sound generator yet?

finish is, as you say, like new.

why did you debadge, Sam?
I think it looks a lot cleaner and smooth with out the badge, the back is quite small and is very cluttered

I'm looking for a plastic disc to spray and cover the lock slot to finish off

So tonights quick 10 minute deletion: the "french fry" on the rear lights

Anouther vanity post im affraid, i wasnt too sure before i did this but now its done it looks a lot better

Before:

After:

This is really simple to do, they are held on by adhesive, and a small pin at the bottom,
Heat them up and start to pry at the top:
