For the record, I generally find people that dislike BMW's, usually haven't driven one, or even sat in one. I had a mate that wasn't really into them at all, but after driving mine briefly completely changed his mind.

I say this guy has never been able to afford one and is just jealous. ;)

What the young BMW drivers dont realise is that the BMW stigma comes from way back when BMW`s were for the upper classes , you know , the ones who thought they were better than the rest . Unlike todays Beemer drivers , they come from all walks of life . From drug dealers and chavs to superstars and white collar guys .
Unfortunately peoples opinions rub off on others from generation to generation , so some people are still narrow minded enough to believe pish like that .

Yeah, agreed. My dad has had one or two BMW's and I've always seen them as a sign of quality, upper class, and great road presence, a cut above the rest. I still see them now as wonderful pieces of engineering and a great pleasure to drive and own.

Some people I know who are my age though just get them for the 'pimp/gangster' tag which removes some of the desire for some people.

Lets spam the idiot! ;)
Does anyone know of a website where you can register e-mail addresses to get spammed that don't require an e-mailed ID confirmation first? I've wanted to find something like that for ages. We can register this guy for a spamming and then systematically get everyone else we individually dislike!

Look at it this way.... When ur drivng down the motorway and some Toyota *cough*jap crap*cough* comes smashing into you because the brakes have stoped working, the accelerator is jammed or the steering has stopped working, would you rather be sat in your nice big, solid, tank of a BMW, or sat in the Toyota?

They may be a bit overpriced... but you cant put a price on that feeling of safety when some idiot in a Fiesta has drifted out of their lane and is heading towards you at 60/70mph.

German cars FTW

The person who made that website probably drives something foul like a L reg Escort and is only having a bitch because secretly deep down he would LOVE a nice BMW, but he cant afford one on his dole payouts lol

As for it being surprising what someone on the dole can afford I will go with what you just said m8, I don't drink and I don't do drugs, I have been on the dole a few months now and I get £128 every 2 weeks from them which I am finding ok. (for now)
