Hi guys,
Had a bit of a bad experience with the above dealer last week serving my e90 320D LCI.
I won't mention that the Spire Ruislip dealer tried to rip me off by adding a scope charge of £20 which they did not quote and I refused to pay, I wasn't quoted for it, so I said I will not pay. Angrily they accepted.
I won't mention the fact that they also refused to cancel my service light if I did not go for a service £170 more expensive, they also did not inform me of this even thought they knew the cars full service history, millage etc. Now i accept that this may BMW dealer policy, however, the car had its fuel filter etc changed, just not at BMW, by the previous owner as i have receipts for this. Also, they could have let me know about this as they knew all the cars details and knew id travel some distance to get this work done being i West London. If this was a local dealer I would have shown them the middle finger.
Lastly, I won't mention that when they gave it a complementary wash, one of the lads was doing the wheels with the same cloth as the body,(i never mix the two together?) threw said cloth of the dirty ground and wanted to go about continuing to wash the car at which point I interrupted to save my innocent paintwork.
I of course paid for the oil and filters changed, however, I then discovered on the drive home and for the past 2 days that my drivers seat has also been broken. Obviously it was moved to accommodate whoever sat in there. However, it now keeps on clicking whenever I accelerate, brake or corner without any force whatsoever, just releasing the clutch in first will make it go "click" "pop" or however you want to describe it. Now the noise is not so much an issue, if the radio is on its barely heard, however, the clicking sensation on my a*s is driving me f***ing fuming mad.
Really disappointed about this. Will let BMW know via letter, I already did through twitter.
Thought i'd let people know, maybe its only me with a bad experience, but I'm certainly not going back, might even avoid main dealers all together. Only did it for the stamp in all fairness.
As always, all the best,
SJ
