hi changed engine in my 520 and have problems starts first tme but throttle dosnt repond(no cable) plus other problems can any one come round and repaire this money no prob its stuck on drive at moment. it also has gas conversion on it wich also only revs to 1000 revs as dose the petrol. its year 2002 520 2.2 help its been off road for three mounths now:frown

Faulty TPS if it has one? Have you tried the throttle reset trick that can be done on the e46's to improve throttle response. Maybe worth a try before getting a auto electrician to come round and read of the faults :thumbsup

Has everything been plugged in correctly after the engine change ie no bent pins on plugs etc

cheked and double checked dont no weather to strip inlet manafold down again ?

Probably worth doing, well better than paying a mechanic. Just double check every plug, relay and fuse.
