I love my car and have been nursing through its various strange issues since i bought it.
The latest issue i have looking at INSTA is:
244C00 - Charge Pressure control, High pressure stage control deviation: Charging Pressure too low / positive control deviation.
This is to do withe the small turbo at low load, low speed.
If i leave this fault code, this will stop the car from regening (according to INSTA).
I have just had the VAC hoses renewed as these were looking very tired, hoping that this would be the cure. Alas no - the code has returned.
The only other thing that the car does which is strange is when i turn off the engine. The electro-Pneumatic change over valve (the one at the front of the N57 engine chatters loudly for a few seconds. This is not normal, and i am sure that this is related to the fault code i am getting.
For clarity, the EGR has 'deleted' been mapped out.
Any ideas on this one gratefully received!
SOLVED:
Two parts to this one, VAC pipes that run over the turbo (surprise, surprise), and the pressure converter for the small turbo was leaky.. now all good.
