Hey all, having a bit of a weird one!

Passenger side actuator died last week, couldn’t open car from inside or out. So the new one arrived today and I fitted it.

It Worked perfectly. I went to get my car washed right after and when they tried to open it the door wouldn’t open again. I replaced the central locking fuses in case the new actuator had blown them but no joy, the door won’t open from inside or out. The stalk is popping up and down and you can hear the part working. Bit stumped now?

Was it an original parts or one of the cheap copy’s ?

You will need to take the door panel back off and check it

I’ve seen some of the cheap ones break after customers just fitted then

I found the issue, original used part. Seller decided to fill it full of grease. So much the mechanism won’t move. Popped a new one in and works a charm!
