Hi friends! Ok so I bought a x5 with a corroded subframe , I have had to replace subframe , drive shafts, and also converted airbags to springs... ever since the replacement this issues have arose ..

- self level suspension inactive on dash
- abs light on making abs fail
- traction control light on and I have to press button for car to come out of limp mode
- also the car drives fine when these lights are on to an extent
But if the lights aren’t on the dash it goes into kangaroo mode and abs fails

Any help and advice great appreciated
Many thanks
Jason

Self level suspension has to be coded out so you won't get those fault messages. This can be done with for example NCS expert.

One of the ABS wheel sensors must be giving faulty speed signal causing those problems and it clears out when the limit is exceeded and it goes to fail mode. Check wheel speeds with diagnostics.

Thankyou for your input , I’m not mechanical but spoke to garage today and they say it’s because I’ve had new subframe in that the bearings are different from front to back ? Hoping to find out tomorow
