Good evening,

I have just purcahsed a new speedo for my e36 318is (because the old one is boring to look at) but i have a problem. My current speedo reads almost 87,000 miles but the one i have bought reads 125,000 miles.

Is there a diy way to correct the mileage or do i need to seek a specialist?
(I am not trying anything dodgy, i just dont want my bmw to have alot more miles on the clock then it is supposed to).

Oh ok mate, thanks. I suppose the fact i have service history backs up the cars proper mileage, but it is slightly annoying.

Does anyone know how much a job like this would cost?
