Back again with another problem with my 2016 116D 1 Series. Drove it home from work this morning and it was absolutely fine, no problems with the power. Drove it tonight and I wouldn't say it's completely lost all power, it will pick speed up but a lot slower than normal, doesn't have the usual pull or "umph" when I put my foot down. 1st and 2nd gear don't seem as bad, however, in third when I put my foot down there is a very big difference in the usual power and it seemed like the RPM was stopping at 3000? But don't quote me on that.
One of my front tyres is at the moment at 1.7psi and needs some air in, would the cars computer cut the power down itself due to this? Or is this an issue that I should get my car booked into a garage to be looked at? There's no lights on the dash or messages in the control centre other than the lower tyre pressure message and symbol. The engine itself doesn't sound any different, doesn't sound like it's running rough, there's no smoke or anything coming out of the exhaust.
