Hi guys, quick question. One of my alloys has a crack in it. My initial thought it to replace it, but I was wondering if it's safe to get welded?

Any advice appreciated.

yes mate welding is fine, i am in the process of having 1 of mine done now, i have had them done before where a 4" piece was snapped of my wheel and welded back in i never had a problem with it after that , it is best to have it done by a specialist as they will blend it in so its un noticable , and then have the wheel refurbed the repair should cost no more than £20 from my personal experience, hope this helps.

tbh ian,i would be guided by the refurb guy rather than us on this issue...some will say yes,some no...depends on the crack i suppose
