Good evening people. First post on this forum. I saw this car below:

https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201806267844412?logcode=visc&fromSA=true https://www.cargiant.co.uk/car/bmw/...m_medium=car_placement&utm_campaign=affiliate

Low mileage, 3 years old, reasonable priced with 2 owners. Too good to be true? Read reviews on this dealer on Google. A bit concerned really, especially with no service history. You guys reckon it's a good buy? If so, I'm looking to add some mods such as a body kit (is it called a m performance kit?) Can that be applied to the car in question? Also, can you add 18"/19" alloys to the vehicle? With the new diesel law possibly coming into effect, would this diesel car apply?

Many thanks!

I got my 320d when it was 3 years old. Only had a couple of small issues but nothing too serious.
I’d recommend buying it approved used from BMW, you will pay a little more but you get the years warranty and roadside assistance.

£15k and then what are these 'variable charges' - oh the 'admin fee' of £190 - is it that sort of place?
Two listed owners, maybe more 'users' - all in all very little about the car but lots and lots how wonderful they are...
Service history yes on key, but may only have had one at 20k, or maybe just missed, either way might have been a much unloved pool car or hire car maybe, for £15k surely you can do better, depends what's important to you?
What new diesel law? Low emissions zones? Most later diesels are Euro 5 or Euro 6 https://tfl.gov.uk/modes/driving/ultra-low-emission-zone/vrm-checker-ulez shows no extra low emissions zone charges would be on that registration, still have to pay congestion charge for London though.
I'd walk, surely can do better than pander to one of these car supermarkets....
This is a 3 door coupe https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classi...rly New&onesearchad=New&price-to=16000&page=1
xenons, 10,574 miles, heated seats... depends what you want - for me always always xenons... heated seats are nice in winter, don't particularly like black but just happens have 2 at the moment which is fine for a day after a wash :)
Get yourself a login with autotrader and save a few varieties of searches, get to know what's in the market that stands out for you.

is what I started with for you, but returned 335 cars :) You mentioned £15k so I used £13 - £16k, you could narrow it down to say just blue cars :)

OK close to what you showed first is this, from a BMW dealer, so a years warranty, oh it's a manual - is that important, this has xenons;

Fancy a convertible? :)

I just don't like car supermarkets, have read a lot of bad press about them, which is probably why that first one you listed had the majority of the add saying how wonderful they are...
Good Luck.
(I may have rambled on a bit, it's kinda a hobby)
