having a problem starting my car. it's only happened 3 times since i bought it. it usally happen's whan i've been driving the car, then stop, lock up the car and when i come back 5 minutes later it dosen't start and it takes about 20 minutes for it to start again.

i don't think it's the battary cos i've never needed to jump start it and it's never done it when starting from cold.

there is also a constant thing that if i unlock it, the immobleiser light goes off and if i leave it for a couple of minutes the light comes back on, then i have to lock it and ulock it again.

my best guess is that my immobleise is faulty. it's going to bmw for a daignostic check at the end of the week but i was just wondering if anyone has the same problem.

Yes, it sounds like an EWS fault. See what the codes pick up and post them up here :thumbsup

only happens about once a month but it's starting to annoy me now. knowing my luck, it won't be a cheap fix:frown
