Hello,
can anyone please advice me how to proceed- my car is X3 e83 with 3.0d- M57TU2 engine- 218hp. The fault that I have is 3F77 AIR PRESSURE CONNTROLLER , so when it's raised, the turbo is off and the car has no power... What I-ve done- checked charged air pressure lines- ok, check mechanically the turbo actuator- ok, map sensor is clean- the hole is clean, I haven;t sprayed in it, just the hole was free from carbon. I doubt the DPF is the real problem, cause every time it goes to a soot level > 37mg the fault with AIR PRESSURE CONNTROLLER is raised. The regeneration in this case is not stared automatically, if I run it by the diagnostic, then the error AIR PRESSURE CONNTROLLER is not raised until soot >37. I don;t know it the dpf is the reason or is consequence. If it;s the reason, I will clean it, but if it's consequence I have to find where is the reason that prevent it from regenaration. The car has no other faults.
