hi all

my e46 328 has the standard audio system and i want to change what the best way to go about it? Is there and one out there doing a amp and speckers that are plug and play so to speak, as i dont want to be cuting wires about.

Hi jay. I just used some adapters and fitted 6x9 speakers into the back shelf and some kenwood components in the footwells and front doors. Didnt use an amp but it is good enough for me and a massive improvement over the standard set up. :thumbsup

I got these for the rear shelf and was well impressed.

It means no cutting or farting about fitting them.
The speakers are my personal reccomendation, i thought they were very good for the money. It might be worth another thread to see what everyone else recommends. I just used some mid price kenwoods for the front but they have been discontinued now:frown
I think the front speakers are 13cm but dont spend too much coz they cant be heard too well in the front footwell. I just let the backs do most of the work:thumbsup

I would personally not touch the rears and get a nice set up at the front.
